Throughout the ancient world of Egypt, the Ankh has been the most recognizable symbol known as “the key to life”. Carried by a multitude of Egyptian gods in tomb paintings and inscriptions it was worn as an amulet to be associated with life, the sun, fertility, and light. Often represented with plain gold, the Ankh Charm in 925 sterling silver is inspired to demonstrate the colour of the sun in association with the symbol’s representation as sun coming over the horizon.
