The Charites London Pendant Charm takes its name after three goddesses, (Aglaia, Euphrosyne, and Thalia together called The Charites), representing natural beauty, festivity, kindness, and charm. The hand sculpted The Charites intaglio on the alluring green carnelian gemstone is finished with the touch of a gold leaf, and delicately placed inside the 925 sterling silver body which forms our signature The Charites Pendant. The alluring pendant is a celebration of womanhood and its natural deities. For years, women were depicted as powerful characters in mythology; with the combination of green carnelian’s powerful aura, this pendant will speak for the women's soul.

Stone Properties

The Carnelian dates back to Ancient Egypt, when it was used for a variety of purposes, including promoting fertility, igniting romance, and even giving bravery to the warriors of the day. Today carnelian is widely known for filling the wearer's aura with uplifting, vivid energy through stimulating creativity, self-care, confidence, and empowerment.

In order to be effective Carnelian is suggested to be contacted with skin. The craftsmanship of the necklace is carefully designed in-line with the gemstone’s properties as the back of the necklace is completely open allowing the gemstone to contact the wearer.

The intaglio depiction of the gem is of The Charites. We feel that the necklace's genuine ancient beauty is a result of Ece London's meticulous hand carvings of each piece entirely from wax, which results in a unique item. Every design has a special backstory. This necklace is hand sculpted and completed by craftsmen in the Grand Bazaar of Istanbul, Turkey.
